The Resilience Running Institute exists to help rehabilitate and prevent running injuries. We take over where physical therapy leaves off, taking you from recovery mode back to full speed and making sure you’re not susceptible to future injuries. With expert guidance, collaboration with your PT, and personally designed strength and return to run plans, you’ll be stronger, faster, and more resilient than ever before.
What We do.
I’m Luke, a physical therapist, physiologist, and running coach. I know injuries and how to rehab and prevent them.
Have you been injured running before? If so, you’re twice as likely to get injured again within a year¹. Haven’t been injured before? That’s awesome! But it’s coming for you. Half of runners get injured each year. But that doesn’t have to be you. I am an expert in running injury and will help you build strength and resilience to come back from injury and prevent future ones.
I’m here to answer your questions and keep you running injury-free. I’ll help you understand how to go from no running to full mileage, how hard to push, how fast to run, if that pain you’re feeling is okay, what mobility and strength exercises you need, and how to avoid injury. You’ll be stronger, faster, fitter, and, most importantly, more resilient against future injury.
With guidance, you can recover from any troubles you have now faster and more safely and prevent injuries in the future.

We’ll meet with you to develop a custom plan made to take you from anywhere to strong and resilient. Then we’ll keep it coming, reassessing monthly to make sure it works for you at every stride. In addition to the plans, you get unlimited access to your coach so you can ask anything you need throughout the process. We’ll be with you every step of the way.
Is this for me?
Resilient running is for everyone who is concerned about running injuries, whether they already had one or want to prevent them. We specialize in making sure you’re a strong runner who will resist the injuries that slow everyone else down. We use our expertise in injury rehab to bring you back from any slowdown and make sure they don’t happen to you in the future.
Returning to RUn without guidance can be debilitating
How do you know if you’re going fast enough? What if you’re going too fast? Is it time to amp up your runs? Is your body ready to try going faster? Is it time to increase the mileage? Is that pain okay? Should this hurt? What exercises should I be doing now? Am I just going to get injured again?
These are just a few of the questions that come up when it’s time to get back on the road after injury and their hard to answer on your own. A coach can provide clear advice and information to make sure your training is optimized for your recovery process.
I haven’t had an injury, can I still get coaching?
Definitely. The Resilience Running Institute specializes in both helping people return to run after injury and stay injury free. If you’re a runner looking to maximize your potential while staying injury free, you’re a good candidate for coaching. You don’t have to be injured to build resilience. About a quarter of runners sustain an injury each year. That doesn’t have to be you. And won’t be, if you build your resilience.
What Do you actually do?
Good question. we’ll manage your training and be with you every step of the way. If you’re coming off an injury, we’ll talk to your PT (with your permission, of course) to learn the details of your case, interview you to learn your running and injury history, your running goals, knowledge, and more, then craft a detailed running and workout plan that works for you. We’ll make a comprehensive plan designed to fit your body, life, and goals, no matter what they are. Then you’ll get ongoing support throughout your training process with access to your coach every day for questions, weekly phone calls, and monthly reassessments to make sure the plan still works for you.
If you’re a healthy runner right now, we’ll learn your injury history, workout history, equipment availability, running history and goals, and more to design a plan that will keep you health and resilient as you get stronger and faster. We make running fun and safe so you can get out there and enjoy it.
